Rainbow Doily !!!

Hello People...

 

I am here this time with this rainbow doily.. yes.. i started of with the new threads from my stash..

 

This is officially my Doily No.2 (actually its third.. my second one is lying half done as i ran out of thread). 

 

I have made this same pattern before with yarn.. what you call it as a Granny Mandala.. but i didnt have all those beautiful colours that time.. and it turned quite bigger with a 2.5 ft in diameter..

 

So this time  i wanted the same effect with thread and to bring it out as a colorful doily.. it turned out nice but i was kind of missing something in this.. yes,, its the bright orange and violet color threads missing.. anyways im happy with it.. :)

 

The pattern is from HERE and yes its indeed an easy pattern and just increase your rounds with your fav colors..

 

Here you go , with the rainbow emerging with each and every color..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And after doing a picot edging... here it is..

And here is my old granny mandala with the brandless yarn made more than an year ago..  I just mixed up all the colors i had that time..

 And guess whats my WIP... i started of with the ROSE DOILY.. and the roses are turning out beautiful.. it takes time but worth the time you spend on it..  I am waiting for it to complete and share with you all..
