Indigo Baby Set !!!

Hello All,

Hope everyone is doing good. I know.. its a very long long time i posted something. Its not that i was busy with the baby.. many things changed in the past few months that didn't allow me to sit with my laptop and type something.

I recently moved to London as my hubby is deputed here for some months. I am staying at home now with baby and actually getting lot of time to crochet. I have ordered some wonderful yarns from deramores and waiting for them to arrive. 

Weather is awesome here that its not too cold nor hot. Perfect to roam around and visit places but its again a challenge to do that with baby. The bonnets and beanies i made for baby are very useful when taking him for a stroll. 

I made this cardi and socks a long back.. that they actually became smaller for my baby now :)

The little cardigan pattern is from HERE.. but i have made enough changes to accommodate the thread size.

And these beautiful bullet buttons are from Pradhan Embroidery Stores Mumbai.. which i ordered few months ago.

I have also places an order on ebay uk for some colorful crochet hooks of all sizes in a beautiful case. Eagerly waiting for it to arrive to start my hooking.

I actually loved the way the socks turned out.. very cosy and looked neat..

Thats it for now and hope i will make new projects here and post them soon.

Yellow Baby Set !!!

Hello Everyone !

Hope all is well with everyone. Finally i got some time to post the baby crochet stuff.. 

After searching the net for hell lot of times, i shortlisted many baby patterns to crochet. And finally arrived at three wonderful links for the cardi, hat and sock pattern.

And here is my result.. very happy with it.. cant wait to put it on my newborn.  I think the sizes are a little big for a newborn but yeah we know how fast babies grow.  

I used the yarn i ordered from Pony craft store, its Hosgeldin which is originally from Turkey. I love this yarn for its softness and its wonderful to work with. But the only bad part is its indeed costly.

SO happy to show you this sweater that i made for my new born. He is very comfortable in it.. !

Baby Sweater !!!

Hello Everyone.. 

Its festival time in India and a very happy Navaratri to all. My big day is nearing and really scared about it. Ahh im already getting nightmares on it. Just 15 - 20 more days to go for the new one to arrive and cant wait. Just trying to keep myself busy by crocheting baby stuff. 

I had this wonderful Stylecraft Aran yarn ordered from Deramores which i had bought earlier without any specific plans. But now used it to make this cute baby sweater set. 

This is made from a beautiful raspberry color Stylecraft Aran yarn. Tried to capture the exact color but they have not turned out great though. The sweater pattern is from HERE  and she has given an incredible explanation on how to make the arm holes too. This is the first wearable crochet i tried for baby apart from beanies. It turned out big as the Aran yarn was thicker.  The size is not for a newborn but anyways babies grow quite fast.. so i expect to use it till 6 months or so. 

And yeah the buttons that were brought from Pradhan Stores Mumbai.. And mixed some blue foor two rows as single color was looking too plain.

And the wonderful sock pattern is from HERE . Just follow the instructions blindly and you will end up with this cuties.. Initially it was confusing as i didn't do the stitch counts properly but once the counts are perfect the result is perfect too. The only disadvantage of this pattern is that you got to sew at the heel part which i don't like. Otherwise its an easy and quick pattern. 

The beanie pattern with ear flap is from HERE . By the way we can get hell lot of hat patterns from there.
