Yellow Baby Set !!!

Hello Everyone !

Hope all is well with everyone. Finally i got some time to post the baby crochet stuff..
After searching the net for hell lot of times, i shortlisted many baby patterns to crochet. And finally arrived at three wonderful links for the cardi, hat and sock pattern.

And here is my result.. very happy with it.. cant wait to put it on my newborn.  I think the sizes are a little big for a newborn but yeah we know how fast babies grow.

I used the yarn i ordered from Pony craft store, its Hosgeldin which is originally from Turkey. I love this yarn for its softness and its wonderful to work with. But the only bad part is its indeed costly.

This cardi pattern is from here.

Sock pattern is from HERE .. wonderfully explained.

SO happy to show you this sweater that i made for my new born. He is very comfortable in it.. !

See you soon with next post hopefully!
Take care n happy hooking

Pink Baby Bonnet !!!

Hello People!!

Hope everyone is fine!! I did miss this beautiful blog world for a while due to many reasons. And I am very happy to inform everyone there that im expecting baby in the end of October and that is the most important reason that kept me busy all these days (oops.. actually months) and i could not make any proper posts though i have many projects started and incomplete.. and a few completed.

Motherhood is indeed a blessing and i am so happy for being one who is blessed. Just a few weeks left and i am eagerly waiting for the arrival for the new one. I have started the preparations already with few crochet works for him/her. Ahhhhh.. the fact that i am unaware that its a boy or girl makes it difficult to chose the yarn color :) Either it should be so pinkish or  bluish or greyish.. anyway i have chosen many wonderful patterns and they are waiting in queue to be made after the arrival of my prince / princess :)

Still so curious and could not wait for 10 more weeks, i made a cute bonnet in pink..  it looks really so girlish i know.. it is a very different and incredible feeling that couldnt be explained when i finished this bonnet.. i was so happy that i made something for him /her. :)

The pattern is from HERE

Bonnets are actually out of fashion and its very hard to find good patterns for bonnets except in some vintage links. There are hell lot of hat and beanie patterns but still bonnets are very cute when worn.

And thats not it.. i am also making few other bonnets in different patterns and sizes as i am not very sure which one would fit a newborn. I am also trying my hands on a baby cardigan and im so excited the way they are all turning out!!

Meet you all with all those completed baby projects soon. Take care and happy hooking!!

Beanies Again!

Hello Lovely People..

I know its been a long gap i posted something.. Actually i was trying my hands out on multiple things at a time and nothing is complete for whatsoever reasons..

I started my double pineapple doily and i ran out of out of thread with few more rows still pending... Feeling lazy and also not that free to step out to buy the same thread...

And a warm welcome to all my new followers.. Thanks a lot for visiting, appreciating and encouraging me to crochet more and more..

Encourage one another - Hmm.. not able to reach this blog..

Also i made lot of other beanies in various colors in the past couple of weeks...  one for my sweet hubby.. and another for my bro and few other friends.. Here the are..

Each of them are of different patterns.. some are made only wiith Sc.. somw only with Dc,. and some with Hdc.. and one with a mix of shells too... the sizes also vary from adult to kid.. :)

Guess what.. I also made something useful last weekend.. My hubby's rotating chair's arms were looking ugly with the upper layer torn.. thought of crocheting something to cover it up. This is what i made for it..

and this is how it was looking so awful before.. My cover made it soft and warm enough to rest the arms :) :) :)

And thats not over yet.. For no reason i made some sweets.. A sweet that brings a smile on everyone's face.. and makes mouth watery.. Gulab Jamunssss..  My hubby loves it.. and can eat in no limits..

I hope i ll finish all my pending crochets and make new posts in the coming weeks.. till then eat well.. stay healthy and happy hooking!!

Men Beanie Hat !!!

Heyyyy All.. Its time for some beanies this time..

After making some hats and shawls with girlish colors and flowers i badly needed a break from it and moved on to something grey.. My bro was asking since a long time a nice beanie for him after seeing the girl hats i made.. I will post the girl beanies in the next post..

Though in India its not that cold to use a beanie regularly, thought it would be useful during a early morning or late night drive..  And here they are..

One went on my bro's head and another went as a B'day present to one of my dear friend.. but just heard that its not fitting his big head!!! More brain may be.. naah.. just more hair!!! :)

Before making this i tried several other beanie patterns but I was not happy with them and ended up in removing them several times. But this one.. is really simple and the shape turned out awesome..  Liz of Crochet in Color has written it easy and clear.. Find the pattern here

The left outs of cream yarn helped me to make those three elegant stripes for my beanie..

Actually had a second thought when it came to white and grey.. but liked that combination too when it was fully done..

Looks really nice on someone's head...

And some more hats of the same pattern in mid blue..

If you notice well, the last three rows of these blue beanies are a bit different and they make nice thin striped sekf design. I did  SC in the last three rows and only in the backloop of the chains.. and the frontloops make a thin stripe..  :)

I wish i would make more hats and give them away as gifts..

Right now giving more work for my eyes crocheting a biiggggg double pineapple doily in a nice blue, hope that would be my next week's post!
